The Nahmad Collection is please to contribute to the exhibition Paul Valéry et les Peintres, Degas, Corot, Courbet, Manet, Monet, Renoir organized for the 50th anniversary of the opening, in 1970, of the Paul Valéry Museum. Created in 1891, the Museum of Fine Arts in Sète took the name of the Paul Valéry Museum.
Honoring the poet, writer and thinker who is at the very heart of the Museum’s identity, this exhibition offers a comprehensive look at the relationships that, throughout his life, united Paul Valéry to painting.
